Hi, I’m Narla—and if you’re looking for a clever, loving, and loyal companion, I might just be your girl.

I’m highly intelligent and incredibly quick to learn. I’ve completed three levels of training at The Dog Training Toolshed in Numurkah, and I truly thrive when I’m given the chance to use my brain. I love picking up new skills, working things out, and having a job to do—whether that’s training, games, or even dog sports.

What makes me really special though is my intelligence with heart. I don’t just learn quickly—I want to learn, and I really love connecting with my humans. I’m the kind of dog who tunes in to you, builds a strong bond, and sticks by your side.

Because I’m so switched on, I do best with clear rules and consistent structure. Having boundaries helps me feel safe, settled, and able to be my best self. I’m not a “set and forget” kind of dog—I’m the kind of dog who will absolutely thrive with guidance and routine.

I also have amazing recall, which makes me a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about and continuing my training.

Now, full honesty—I can be a bit of an escape artist. I like to problem-solve (sometimes a little too well!), so I’ll need a home that is willing to work with the rescue on appropriate containment and secure fencing to keep me safe.
