About Zark
🐾 Meet Zark - Your New Best Friend!
Grey & White | Female | Stray Arrival | Ready for Adoption
Zark is a stunning grey and white sweetheart who arrived at the shelter as a stray and has since shown us just how much love she has to give. Now healthy, happy, and officially ready for her forever home, Zark is hoping to meet the person who will fall in love with her gentle spirit.
💖 Personality
Zark is a cat with a soft soul. She can be a little shy at first-life on the streets will do that-but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a warm and affectionate companion. She enjoys quiet company, soft pats, and a cosy spot to curl up in. If you're someone who appreciates a calm, peaceful feline friend, Zark might be your perfect match.
🏡 Ideal Home
Zark would thrive in a home that respects her pace and gives her time to settle in. She'd suit:
A quiet household
A patient adopter
Possibly older children or adults only
A relaxed lifestyle
She'd love to be the centre of attention, but she may also do well with another calm, friendly cat after a slow introduction.
✨ Why You'll Love Her
Zark is the kind of cat who won't demand much-just kindness, warmth, and a place where she can finally relax. She has a gentle charm and a soft presence that makes you feel instantly at ease. Once she trusts you, her affection is incredibly rewarding.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
