My Ideal Home:
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• As a social and playful pup, I may really enjoy attending doggy daycare.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• I’d love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• Most importantly, I’m looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• When I get excited, I can be a little bouncy, so any children in the home would need to feel comfortable and confident around an energetic, enthusiastic dog joining the family.
• I’d love a friendly dog playmate — or, if I’m your only dog, regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs.
• A home without cats would be best for me, they look fun to chase, herd, yap at.

• I’m a very playful, joyful & affectionate boy
• I’m highly food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I am a very clever boy who knows how to sit, spin, lay down, wait, stay, come and wait to eat.
• I am responsive to my name
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I’ll only keep improving.
• I am housetrained and used to sleeping inside.
• I’m very social and happy to hang out with other friendly dogs — total social butterfly!
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I’m quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
• I LOVE toys! Fetch and tug-of-war are some of my favourite games.
• I’m exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• I’m clever, enthusiastic, and would thrive with a family who’ll continue my training and maybe even teach me some cool new tricks.

Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Jax if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
