Hi, I'm Smokie.

I might look like a cool, confident guy, but really I'm just a soft-hearted boy hoping someone out there will give me a chance. I'm the kind of cat who loves his person deeply, so I'd really like to be the only cat in the home. Sharing my humans isn't really my style.

I feel safest in a calm home with adults or older teenagers, where things are a little quieter and I can relax and be myself.

I'm also FIV positive, but that doesn't stop me from being a loving, affectionate companion. With the right home and care, I have so much love to give.

My favourite things are cuddles, gentle affection, and spending time close to my humans. Sometimes I like to stretch out in a warm patch of sunshine and just enjoy the day.

More than anything, I'm hoping someone will see past the little things that make finding a home harder for me, and notice the sweet, loyal boy I really am. If you're looking for a best friend who will adore you with his whole heart, I'm right here waiting.
