Meet Tonks 🐾
🐶 Personality:
Tonks is a gentle, loving girl with a heart of gold who absolutely adores her people. She is a world-class snugglier who lives for nighttime cuddles and will happily roll over for belly rubs at any opportunity. An outdoor enthusiast, Tonks loves a fun game of tug, trips to the beach, and having a good splash in the water. True to her Maremma and Cattle Dog roots, she is loyal, intelligent, and naturally observant. While she takes her role as a faithful watch-dog seriously and will alert you to visitors, she warms up beautifully to new friends with just a little time and slow introductions, quickly revealing her wonderfully playful side.
🎓 Training:
Tonks is an absolute star to train! She is highly food-motivated and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement, already boasting an impressive vocabulary that includes "sit," "drop," "shake," "wait," and "stay." She is fully house-trained and a polite lady indoors. Tonks is leash-trained and loves her walks, though her keen working-dog focus means she can get a bit distracted by ducks or passing cars. With consistent, structured guidance, her leash etiquette and developing recall will continue to thrive.
🏠 Perfect Home:
Tonks is looking for a calm, structured home with a confident owner who appreciates the loyalty and intelligence of guardian breeds. While a larger property or acreage gives her wonderful space to explore, she may adapt to a quiet standard home with a secure yard. Tonks will blossom best in a peaceful environment with older, dog-savvy children or adults only, where she can settle in at her own pace. If you are looking for a deeply devoted, intelligent companion who will form an unbreakable bond with her family, Tonks is your perfect match.
Love and licks,
Tonks 🐕🐾❤️
