Don’t let the name fool you — this little guy is anything but lazy! Potato is a high-energy, cheeky pup who is always on the go and ready to turn everyday life into an adventure.
💛 Personality
Potato is full of personality and absolutely loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. He’s curious, playful, and always looking for his next bit of fun (or mischief!). He will keep you laughing with his antics, but he’ll also need guidance as he learns what is and isn’t appropriate puppy behaviour.
🏃 Energy Level
High – Potato is best suited to an active home that can keep up with his energy and give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
🧠 Training
As a young pup, Potato is still learning the ropes. He will need a committed owner who is willing to put time into training, consistency, and structure. With the right guidance, he has all the potential to grow into a brilliant, well-rounded dog.

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
