About Agatha
*In foster care in Lilyfield, Sydney*
With her wide eyes and permanently surprised expression, Agatha often looks like she’s just received a message from the spirit world! We can’t confirm it, but we’re fairly certain she can see things the rest of us can’t. Ghosts? Possibly. The past lives of your houseplants? Maybe. Your future snack choices? Almost definitely!
Agatha is mostly white with tabby spots on her ears and tail, giving her a slightly mystical 'Victorian child who haunts a hallway' aesthetic. It’s part of her considerable charm :)
While she won’t aggressively demand cuddles, if you invite her onto your lap she’ll happily settle in and lie on you like a small, slightly haunted hot water bottle. She prefers her affection politely initiated, after which she’s very content to stay and supervise both you and any nearby spirits.
If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly spooky companion who may or may not have a connection to the other side, Agatha is ready to move in and report for paranormal duty immediately!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Agatha is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll thrive in a quiet, relaxed home with people who'll appreciate my quirky side! I adore companionship, and I'm happiest lounging around close to all the action while keeping a safe distance from anything too strenuous...
Until kitten mode kicks in, that is! Don't be alarmed when I suddenly lock eyes with an empty corner or track something invisible across the room - I'm simply staying on top of my spooky security duties.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Daydreaming, relaxing and observing the world/s from cosy spots are my favourite hobbies - but I have plenty of playful moments too! I'm a big fan of chasing toys, zooming after shadows and practicing my ghost hunting skills :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My personality is calm and easygoing, but I prefer to approach people on my own terms - so gentle, respectful kids sound good to me, as long as they understand that I'll sometimes need my space.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm untested with dogs, but I get along beautifully with other cats! I love curling up with my sister or the resident feline friends in my foster home for a cosy cuddle.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
