About Tiny - 14 Year Old Fox Terrier X
Tiny is an approximately 14yo Fox Terrier X. Weighing in at around 7kg, she’s tiny in size but with a big heart full of love to share with her new family. Tiny’s spirit is curious, playful and affectionate, and she’s happiest when she is close to you, snuggling up on the couch for a nap.
Tiny came into rescue as a stray and was unclaimed. Since then, she has received some much-needed nurturing, and now that her health has restored, she’s eager to meet her forever family.
While certainly considered a senior, Tiny’s zoomies are quite impressive, and her playful head-bobbing will bring joy into the lives of her new family members. She enjoys regular walks and outings, and loves to be included in your daily life.
Tiny requires a patient family who’s committed to her ongoing care, including regular grooming and understanding that she may have the occasional toileting accident, which is common in senior dogs. She will benefit from a regular and consistent routine to help manage this.
She loves her current nutritious diet (Lyka) and the occasional piece of cheese as a treat.
Tiny has cataracts but relies mostly on her eyesight to navigate the world, as her hearing is greatly reduced. She loves to see what you’re up to, happily trotting behind you around the house and garden.
Tiny is friendly with other calm dogs and currently appreciates the company of her foster sibling. Ideally she will have a human home most of the time to keep her company. A home with a calm cat will be considered, but she is not suitable for a home with pocket pets.
Tiny is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. She is not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
