Meet Trevor the 6 Years Old Dachshund x Chihuahua (Chiweenie)
Are you looking for a loyal shadow and brilliant company? Meet Trevor! At 6 years young, Trevor is the perfect blend of inquisitive explorer and affectionate companion. Whether he’s investigating a new scent in the garden or curled up on your lap while you work, Trevor just wants to be where the action is.
Trevor would love a home with a small female dog companion to play and hang out with. But he would also be happy with the occasional play dates with dog friends as long as he has one on one time with his people. He has a big heart and thrives on company, making him the ideal partner for someone who works from home or is around often.
Trevor loves to get out and see and smell the neighbourhood, so a daily walk is perfect for Trevor. He needs a secure yard to explore, so he’s looking for a house rather than an apartment.
After his sniffari Trevor is ready to join you on the sofa. Or ready to join you at your desk for work meetings.
Trevor is untested with cats. Kids over 8 who are dog savvy would suit him best. We don’t recommend he live with pocket pets.

He is in foster care in Turramurra, NSW, and is available for adoption to NSW & ACT only. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
