He’s perfectly content spending his days snoozing in a sunny spot or perched somewhere he can watch the outside world go by, gazing out with his big, owl-like eyes. There’s something undeniably special about him; he is like an old soul in a young cat’s body.
Affection on His Terms
While Silvio enjoys affection, he prefers it on his own gentle terms. He’s happy to be picked up for a short cuddle, but what he loves most is choosing his moment. He will approach you with a soft look or a delicate touch to let you know he’s ready for chest snuggles and back scratches.
Playful and Patient

Best Buds: He especially enjoys a good romp with his favourite foster sibling, Bean.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
