About Lebron
Hello there! I’m Lebron, and I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR LEBRON
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/qUuAZLLgeyECQ2t39
My Ideal Home:
• Most importantly, I’m looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• Secure fencing, with no gaps holes or areas I could squeeze/dig through is essential to keep me safe.
• I’d love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Regular grooming and brushing will keep me looking and feeling my best.
• I have previously lived with young children, but I am not huge fan of little ones, or when they try to pick me up, kids above 10 years please!
• Training, training, training — it’s essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion
• Because I have had a sheltered start and can be shy in new situations, continued socialisation will really help build my confidence. I’m already becoming braver at the shelter!
• I need a calm, gentle dog companion doggy companion to keep me company when my family isn’t home. I can feel lonely and a little anxious when left alone, which may lead to barking or destructive behavior.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a gentle, quiet cat.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I’m gentle and placid in nature, and I’ve had some basic obedience training — I’m generally a well-mannered dog. I know my basic commands like sit, shake and stay, and I’m always eager to learn more.
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I’m quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I’ll only keep improving.
Training & Support Needs:
• I haven’t had any formal training yet, so I’ll need help with all my basic manners and life skills. The good news is I love food and toys, which will make positive training lots of fun and rewarding for me.
• I’ve only recently started learning to walk on lead at the shelter. I’m improving every day, but I can still be a little slow, erratic or fearful at times. With patience and regular walks, I’ll soon gain confidence and enjoy my daily strolls.
• I’m not housetrained yet, I can sometimes have accidents in new places, so I’ll need guidance and consistency to learn.
Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Lebron if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
Medical notes
Lebron arrived with some alopecia from fleas/mites. He has now been treated, bathed and is on the road to recovering his beautiful coat. Otherwise, he has no known pre-existing conditions.
