About Yardstick
Meet Yardstick 💫
Yardstick is a one-of-a-kind little lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart. As a tripod, she does things her own way — which sometimes means the occasional clumsy moment — but she doesn’t let anything slow her down.
What she does insist on is love. Yardstick is incredibly affectionate and will take every opportunity to nuzzle her head into you for pats. She’s the kind of cat who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing.
She’s also wonderfully chatty, full of soft chirps and little conversations. And when food is involved? Yardstick is very interested — she’s known to cheekily try her luck at sneaking a bite if you’re not watching!
Yardstick has been tested with other cats and could suit a home with a feline friend, given the right introductions.
If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient, and slightly goofy companion who will keep you company and make you smile every day, Yardstick might just be your perfect match 💛

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
