About Albert
Albert is ready to steal your heart and your lap. He absolutely loves cuddling up on a warm lap. It's like all his senses are tuned to knowing when there is a lap available that he can sit on. He's a lap seeking missile!
When no lap can be found, he will have a nap in a patch of sunlight - all the better to show off his dapper little tuxedo and socks.
He loves playtime and seems to have endless energy. He's good with other cats, and loves to have a wrestle if they'll let him.
He can a bit shy around new people sometimes, but once he loves you, he wants to be around you all the time (particularly when you're sitting down!). He has the loudest purr so patting him makes everyone happy!
He's great with kids - he used to snuggle up with the 4 year old in his previous foster home.
Could this adorable fluffball be the kitten for you?

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
