About Nutmeg
Nutmeg is a gentle girl with a heart as warm as her name. She adores playtime with her favourite soft balls and can often be found perched proudly at the top of her cat tower, watching the world go by from her royal lookout.
When she’s not exploring or soaking up sunshine in her favourite sunny spot, Nutmeg loves nothing more than the company of good friends — both feline and human. She’s wonderfully social, enjoys the company of other animals, and has a soft spot for creamy treats (they’re her absolute favourite indulgence!).
With her sweet, easygoing nature and playful charm, Nutmeg would make a delightful companion for anyone looking to add a little warmth and joy to their home. She’s ready to find her forever family — could that be you?

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
