🐾 Double the Love: Meet Two Little Legends 🐾

Hi there… we’re Rubble and Billy — best mates, housemates, and if we have our way, forever-home-mates too.

We were both born on 1 January 2025, which makes us New Year’s boys — fresh starts are kind of our thing. We came from the same home and somehow found ourselves in the pound, which was a bit confusing… but thankfully, the lovely people at Southern Downs ARK made sure we didn’t have to face the world alone.

Now we’re safe, happy and ready to find a home — ideally together, because honestly, life’s just better that way.

🐶 I’m Rubble

I’m the slightly fluffier one — a tricolour Tibetan Spaniel mix, weighing in at a very cuddly 8.5kgs.

Tibetan Spaniels were bred as companion dogs in monasteries high in the Himalayas — basically professional best friends — and I take that role very seriously. I’m affectionate, loyal, and always nearby (preferably on your bed, if that’s okay with you).

As for the “mix” part… your guess is as good as mine. I've heard everything from “a bit of this” to “a dash of that” — but whatever the recipe, the result is pretty delightful, even if I do say so myself.

🐶 And I’m Billy

I’m the handsome sable Aussie Terrier, a neat little 7.8kgs of charm and character.

Australian Terriers are known for being bright, spirited, and devoted little companions — and I tick all those boxes. I’m curious, friendly, and always up for whatever’s going on… as long as I get some cuddles afterwards.

🐾 What we’re like together

We’re:
✨ Sweet-natured and affectionate
✨ Great with other dogs
✨ Good with kids
✨ Fine with cats
✨ House-trained (we’re very proud of that)
✨ Big fans of couch time and bedtime snuggles

We’re active enough to enjoy a walk and a play, but we’re not over the top — we’re really just lovely little dogs who want to be part of your life.
