My Ideal Home:
• Familiarity and understanding of my breed traits would be highly valued.
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• As a social and playful pup, I may really enjoy attending doggy daycare.
• Secure fencing, with no gaps holes or areas I could squeeze/dig through is essential to keep me safe.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Most importantly, I’m looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• I have previously lived with young children.
• Training, training, training — it’s essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• I prefer dogs around my own size and am not comfortable with much larger dogs.
• I need a doggy companion to keep me company when my family isn’t home, or a household where someone is around most of the time. I can feel lonely and a little anxious when left alone, which may lead to barking or destructive behaviour.
• I have a high prey drive, so I’m not suited to homes with cats or small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, or ducks.
• I’ve never been allowed indoors before, but I would truly love to be included as part of the family and spend time inside with my people.

My Paw-some Perks:
• I’m a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I’m excited.
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I’ll only keep improving.
• I’m exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• I’m clever, enthusiastic, and would thrive with a family who’ll continue my training and maybe even teach me some cool new tricks.
• I absolutely love other dogs! I’m energetic and playful, so I’d thrive with a dog who matches my enthusiasm.

Training & Support Needs:
• As a young puppy, I’m ready to learn and adapt — how I grow and mature will reflect the love, structure, and guidance you provide
• I’ve only recently started learning to walk on lead at the shelter. I’m improving every day, but I can still be a little slow, erratic or fearful at times. With patience and regular walks, I’ll soon gain confidence and enjoy my daily strolls.
• I’m not housetrained yet, as I haven’t previously been allowed inside, so I’ll need guidance and consistency to learn.
• My previous owner mentioned that I would sometimes dig when left alone in the yard. A secure yard is very important for me, and I may benefit from enrichment — or even a canine companion — to keep me mentally stimulated and prevent boredom.
• I’ve lived in the same home my whole life and had very little exposure to the outside world.
• I may show some resource guarding around high value treats around other dogs. I will require to be fed separately from any dogs to start with until I am comfortable but with patience, consistency, and positive training, this is something we can continue to work through together.
