Meet Elvis, a charming 7-year-old Pomeranian x Chihuahua mix who is ready to find his "Forever Home." Don't let the age fool youâthis distinguished gentleman has plenty of pep in his step and a whole lot of love to give. The tail doesn't stop wagging and the big brown eyes will have you let him get away with murder.
Personality & Habits
Elvis is the perfect blend of his two breeds: he has the alert intelligence of a Chihuahua and the fluffy, happy-go-lucky spirit of a Pomeranian. He is a social butterfly who truly enjoys the company of others.
* Social Life: Elvis is a total team player! He is great with other dogs and is cat-friendly, making him an ideal addition to a multi-pet household.
* Playtime: His absolute favourite hobby? Fetch! He may be small, but he has the heart of an athlete and will happily chase a ball until his little heart is content.
* Downtime: After a game of fetch, thereâs nothing Elvis loves more than a good cuddle. He is a professional lap-warmer and will gladly join you for a movie marathon.
The Ideal Home
Elvis is looking for a family that will appreciate his sweet nature. He would thrive in:
* A home with or without other furry siblings, (Although he does really like the company of a friend.)
* An environment where he gets regular playtime and walks. He currently enjoys a walk in the afternoon with his foster parent.
* A place where he can be treated like the royalty his name suggests.

Elvis is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate.
His adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms,
and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
