About Pepper
PEPPER 🐾
Loyal | Loving | People-Focused
Pepper is a beautiful Blue Cattle Dog with a gentle nature and a big heart for her people. She has clearly been someone’s close companion and absolutely adores human company — she is very much people-focused and loves being included in family life.
She would suit a home with children, particularly those who understand working breeds. Like many cattle dogs, Pepper has natural herding instincts and may try to “round up” kids from time to time, but she responds well to a firm voice and calm guidance.
Pepper is a gentle soul and we are continuing to work on her manners, including her tendency to jump up when excited.
She has had limited experience with other dogs and is still learning how to read them. She is not aggressive — just a little unsure — and will benefit from calm, gradual introductions. We suspect she has not been exposed to small dogs, as she does not yet understand how to interact safely with them.
At home, Pepper is an easy and affectionate companion who enjoys being close to her people.
