💛 Meet Goldie – our golden-hearted girl 💛
Say hello to Goldie, a beautiful Bull Arab mix puppy who has just swapped the uncertainty of the pound for the warmth and love of a wonderful foster home. She was born on 27 December 2025.
Now safely in the care of one of our most experienced foster carers (and very enthusiastically adored by her children!), Goldie is soaking up everything a happy puppyhood should be — cuddles, playtime, and plenty of attention. And yes… kids do love puppies — and Goldie loves them right back!
At around 7.5kgs, Goldie is still very much a baby, although her photos might make her look bigger than she really is — that’s just because her little human friends are still quite small. In reality, she’s a perfectly sized pup who enjoys thinking of herself as a lap dog… something we’re encouraging her to enjoy now before she grows into her expected adult weight of around 28–32kgs!
As for her breed mix, your guess is as good as ours — but whatever the recipe, it’s turned out just right.
Goldie is:

✨ Playful, affectionate and sweet-natured
✨ Already showing all the signs of being a truly lovely companion
Bull Arabs are known for their loyal, gentle and affectionate nature, and Goldie is a shining example of everything we love about the breed. When raised with love and good socialisation — just like she is now — they make wonderful family dogs who form strong bonds with their people.
Goldie is still a young puppy, so she will need:
🏡 A home with secure, dog-safe fencing
🐕 Either another friendly dog to guide her, or humans who are around much of the time
💛 A family committed to raising a puppy with patience, love and positive training
Puppies thrive on companionship, and it’s simply not fair to leave them alone for long stretches — Goldie is looking for a home where she can truly be part of the family.

Goldie was health-checked, microchipped and vaccinated on 21 March 2026.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
