About Egg
🍳 😻 Looking for an egg-citing new addition to your family? Meet Egg! This handsome grey speckled tabby with bright green eyes is truly one-of-a-kind. He’s a confident little explorer who’s always ready to crack into his next adventure.
🩵 Rambunctious, confident and affectionate, Egg is full of life and love. He’s the first to greet you at the door and will happily weave through your legs asking for attention, he’s simply egg-ceptional company!
❣️ Egg loves:
• Climbing to egg-streme heights and exploring
• Chasing toys and bouncing on his siblings
• Curling up on a warm lap after playtime
• Still learning that pants aren’t climbing posts (he’s just egg-stra enthusiastic!)
👀 Egg loves being up high where he can keep an eye on everything, especially birds outside the window. When he’s not on an adventure, he’s snuggled up with his siblings or tucked into a cozy lap for a well-earned rest.
🐾 Egg is very affectionate and people-focused. He would likely do well with children, though his playful energy means he’ll need guidance as he continues learning gentle play.
🐱 🐶 With Other Pets
• Cats: Yes – very social and playful
• Dogs: Untested, but likely adaptable
🏡 Egg would thrive in a home with plenty of toys, climbing spots, and companionship. He’d love a family who can match his playful energy and give him lots of affection (and maybe a sunny spot for his daily naps!).
🐣 Egg is guaranteed to bring egg-stra joy, laughter, and love into your home. If you’re ready for a fun, affectionate kitten, he’s ready to hatch into your life!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
