About Tabby Beauty Mabel
This beautiful little lady is a sweet and gentle soul with a big heart and a lot of love to give. She absolutely adores people and enjoys nothing more than curling up and having a cuddle with her favourite person.
Sadly Mabel's people were forced to move for work and were struggling to find a rental that would accept a family with a cat. After months of applications and living in limbo they made the tough decision to find Mabel a stable new home.
She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.
Mabel can be a little shy at first and will take some time to settle into her new environment, but once she has a chance to get to know you her beautiful personality will begin to shine through and it it will be all purrs, cuddles, sunshine and rainbows.
Like most tabbies Mabel can be an incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than a warm, cozy nap spot and a cuddle with her favorite humans.
As a young lady she also has plenty of energy and a beautiful playful streak that will keep you amused for hours. She's a cheeky little thing and one of her favorite things to do is to sneak under the bed then reach out and bat at your feet as you walk past. Same thing can be said about tables with table cloths. You better watch out haha.
Besides being loving and playful she is also a gentle and tolerant soul who is great with young kids. Mabel would make a lovely family companion.
Mabel hasn't been around other cats previously but is now living with other cats in her foster home and seems to be adjusting just fine. We imagine with time and a gradual introduction she would adapt to a multi-pet household fairly easily.
She has been an indoor-only cat most of her life and she's happiest in a safe, comfy home where she can relax, play, and be loved.
Mabel is approximately 2.5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
