Hi, I’m Kea! I’m a sweet little boy, but my foster family says I should really be called “Shadow” because I don’t like to miss out on anything. I’ll follow you around the house just in case something exciting happens.

If you sit down for even a couple of minutes, I’ll be right there on your lap making biscuits and purring my little head off. I have the sweetest personality and a very curious nature.

If you’re looking for an independent kitty, I’m probably not the one—I thrive on attention and love being around my humans as much as possible.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
In my foster home, there’s always something going on! I live with two other foster kittens—one my size and one a bit bigger.

I can also see a dog and four big cats through a glass door. I really enjoy having a furry friend to play with, and my foster mum and dad are home most of the day, which I love because I adore human company.

I haven’t met little children yet, but I think I could get used to them.

Likes / Dislikes
I love being the centre of attention, having lap snuggles, eating my food, chasing balls, and playing with my furry friends. I’m not a fan of my dinner being late though - I like my meals on time!

My PURR-fect home would be one where I have plenty of space to roam safely indoors (or with a secure cat run), and where I’m not left alone too much. I’d be happiest with humans who are home often—maybe working from home or part-time—or with another friendly furry companion to keep me company. Most of all, I’m looking for a home full of love, attention, and cuddles, because being close to my people is what makes me happiest.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Kea please come and meet him at PETstock Joondalup this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
