About Katza
Meet Katza! Hi I’m Katza (aka miss skinny bum) I’ve been with my foster mum and brother for over 6 months while having corrective eye surgery, and it’s been a real journey! I’m alright now and ready to meet my new family. I still can be nervous after all the treatments I’ve had but am learning it’s ok to be picked up and held. I am currently not a lap cat although I’m very affectionate and sleep on mums bed, often seeking her out for ear rubs and chin scratches. I play happily on my own, throwing my “toys” (scraps of packing tape) and love rumbling with my foster brother and his grooming after. Mum tells me I’ve got the sweetest nature and the tiniest meow. CHICKEN!!! Is my favoritest thing in the world, it’s always been my reward after treatments or medication time. Mum poaches me my special chicken. My second favourite thing is going for walks in the garden on my lead. All the smells and the sunshine make me so happy. I look forward to meeting you, please bring chicken.
I have had extensive treatment on my eyes. I was diagnosed with a condition called Bilateral eyelid agenesis with trichiasis and secondary ulcerative keratitis which have had marked improvement since my two surgeries. I am also a carrier for the cat flu virus.
My new owner will need to understand that being a cat flu carrier, this can occasionally relapse. This also means I am easily susceptible to conjunctivitis and my eyes will require regular cleaning and drops as needed. Because of my eye condition, my fee has been reduced to $150 and I need to be in a special home that is really committed to me and understands the ongoing costs. My human friends are happy to go through my treatment plans with you.
If you would like to meet me, please enquire with the lovely team at PETstock Tuggerah. Katza will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outdoor dangers! If you would like to meet Katza, please speak with the friendly team at PETstock Tuggerah!
Included in my adoption fee is:
🐾 Vaccination
🐾 Desexing
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Flea/Worm treated
🐾 Entitlement to free council life-time registration

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
