About Selly
Meet Selly!
Selly's journey hasn't been the easiest, but her spirit is nothing short of inspiring. This beautiful young girl came into our care quite unwell and needing urgent support. With time, gentle handling, and lots of love, she has made an incredible recovery - and now she's ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will adore her.
💛 Personality
Selly is everything you'd hope for in a young Rottweiler:
Sweet‑natured and affectionate
Eager to learn and loves positive attention
Playful, bright, and brimming with puppy enthusiasm
Builds strong bonds with her people
She's still young, so she'll thrive with continued training, structure, and enrichment. She's very food‑motivated and enjoys working with her humans, making training not just doable - but fun!
🌱 Ideal Home
Selly would suit a home that can offer:
Consistent training and gentle guidance
Time for play, exercise, and mental stimulation
A family committed to helping a young dog flourish
Someone who appreciates the loving nature of the Rottweiler breed
She is extremely social and would thrive in a multi-dog home or, as the centre of attention, she'd enjoy a home where she can be part of daily life.
❤️ Why You'll Love Her
Selly isn't just looking for a home - she's looking for her forever. After everything she's overcome, this girl deserves a future full of comfort, companionship, and warm laps to rest her head on.
If you're searching for a loyal, happy, and incredibly resilient young companion, Selly might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
