Jitter

Jitter is a 2-year-old German Shepherd with all the classic shepherd traits we know and love: she's smart, loyal, active, and full of personality. True to her breed, Jitter forms strong bonds with her people and absolutely thrives on affection and companionship.

This gorgeous girl is sweet, cuddly, and incredibly clever. She's also very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding-she's the perfect candidate for someone who wants to build great foundation skills and enjoy training together. With her sharp mind and eagerness to engage, Jitter will love learning new tricks, games, and activities.

Jitter is also playful and energetic, so she'd suit a home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and some mental enrichment to keep her busy. Think puzzle toys, training sessions, and adventures with her humans!

When out on walks, Jitter can sometimes be reactive when passing other dogs, but interestingly she shows nice, relaxed body language when meeting dogs more directly. With continued positive training and guidance, she has great potential to build confidence around other dogs.

Jitter would thrive in a family home with dog-savvy kids who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. She may also be able to live with another dog pending successful introductions. Her new family should be able to provide moderate daily exercise along with mental stimulation to keep her happy and engaged. Jitter hasn't been tested with cats, so any introductions would need to be slow and carefully managed.
