About Lexi
Lexi is a soft‑hearted, grey‑and‑white boy with a tender nature and a quiet charm. He can be shy when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, he begins to show his warm, loving side.
He does best in peaceful homes where he can feel safe and gently encouraged to come out of his shell. Lexi is the perfect match for someone who understands that trust takes time - and believes that slow, gentle companionship is something special.
Lexi Is Looking For
A quiet, low‑stress household
Someone patient who will let him adjust at his own pace
An adult home or a family with older, respectful children
Preferably a home where he can be the only pet (or with another calm, gentle cat)
In Return, Lexi Offers
Soft, peaceful companionship
Sweet affection once he feels secure
A loyal bond with someone who understands his gentle heart
A calm presence for quiet evenings and cozy moments
Special Notes
Lexi may take a little time to settle, but once he feels safe, he shows his loving nature through soft purrs, gentle cuddles, and quiet loyalty. He thrives with people who move slowly, speak softly, and give him the space he needs to feel at home.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
