About Minnie
🐾 Meet Minnie – A Gentle Survivor with a Heart of Gold 🐾
Name of Cat: Minnie

Gender: Female

Minnie’s story is one of quiet resilience and incredible growth. She spent the first part of her young life surviving on the streets, wary of humans and keeping her distance. Everything changed when she gave birth to three tiny babies in a backyard shelter. From that moment, Minnie showed her true colours — a devoted, gentle mum who slowly began to trust the helping hands around her.
Since coming into care, Minnie has made beautiful progress. While she was once fearful, she’s learned that humans can be kind and is now a very calm, easy-going girl who simply prefers to do things on her own terms. She isn’t hissy at all — just cautious — and will happily approach you when she’s ready for affection. If you offer your hand and give her the space to choose, she’ll lean in for gentle pats around her ears and chin (a big win!). 💛
She has started greeting her carer at the door and no longer runs away when people move around her — a huge step forward that shows just how far she’s come. Minnie is incredibly sweet and gentle, but will need a patient, understanding home willing to continue building her trust at her pace.
Minnie also has a beautifully nurturing nature. She’s been an incredible mum and even grooms kittens that aren’t her own. She is very tolerant and social with other cats, confidently setting her own boundaries when needed, and does well with calm introductions.
She enjoys her naps, loves her meals (and politely asks for seconds!), and is happiest in a peaceful environment where she feels safe and respected. With continued love and patience, Minnie will only continue to blossom — her gentle, affectionate side shining more each day.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
