About Talouse
Talouse has being here a couple years now and it seems I forgot to put him in the available album as his being far to unruly to be rehomed until recently. He is looking for a home with his ginger friend Marco who is a lovely cat.
This handsome, huge beast of the cat wasn't always this drop dead gorgeous. When he came in 2 years ago he was extremely wild, malnourished and not a pretty face at all. How time has changed things.
Talouse has mellowed right out into a lethargic fat blob whose top speed is shuffling at the sound of dinner, literally. At other times his standing daintly expressing his happiness to be hanging out with his girls and his bestie Marco. He does this while making trilling and chirpping sounds to head bonk and greet his friends. I think his even began greeting me now to, which is an honor.
Interacting with Talouse he may have a half hearted hiss, but I'm not afraid to handle him at all as his come a long way and I trust him to not to react. He would probably really enjoy pats and loving once settled. His friend Marco has come full circle and loves pats. They have to go together so you will get the best of both worlds.
Being FIV+ there's an expectation that they will one day have their immune system deterioate and infections won't heal as well, but these boys are some of the healthiest cats we have in care. I wouldn't stress about the effects of FIV causing problems until they old and weathered and things naturally start to decline.
FIV cats should be housed separately from un affected cats to be safe.
They must be strictly kept as indoor only cats.
The boys comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
