Chip

Meet Chip - proof that looks can be very deceiving. He may look big, tough and intimidating, but don't be fooled... beneath that staffy exterior is a soft, smoochy teddy bear who would happily trade street cred for cuddles with his favourite human.

Chip is a sensitive soul who can lose a bit of confidence in stressful situations. What he really wants is a calm, confident human who understands big staffy personalities and can help him learn that the world isn't such a scary place - and that he can do hard things without packing a full-blown tantrum (we're looking at you, vet clinic 👀).

True to his staffy roots, Chip comes with a generous helping of affection... and just a sprinkle of stubbornness. For example, when Chip decides he's not done with playtime and doesn't want to go back into his kennel, he makes his feelings very clear. Negotiations may be required.

While Chip may be able to live with another dog in the future, we believe he would thrive most as the only dog in a calm, confident home where he can soak up one-on-one time and learn lots of new skills from his humans.

Chip also has one very relatable quirk - he's not a huge fan of being alone. He's hoping for a home where someone is around more often than not and can help him learn that alone time isn't actually so bad (especially when you get to choose the TV channel).

Yes, Chip comes with a bit of a wish list... but we truly believe that once he's out of the stressful kennel environment, he'll blossom into the most loyal, loving and rewarding companion for someone special.
