Meet Razza, a Labrador Blue Heeler Cross. This breed has the following characteristics:
High Energy & Working Drive: They require rigorous exercise (running, hiking, fetching) to prevent destructive behavior. They are not suitable for sedentary lifestyles.
Intelligent & Trainable: They learn quickly but need consistent, firm training and mental stimulation to prevent boredom.
Loyal and Protective: They are affectionate with their families but can be suspicious of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs.
Herding Instincts: They may exhibit herding behaviors, such as chasing or nipping at the heels of children, other pets, or moving vehicles.
"Velcro" Dog Tendencies: They often form a very strong, attached bond with their owners.

PLEASE NOTE: We only re-home within a 100km radius of Ballina on the North Coast of NSW.
Please email shelter@nras.org.au anytime or phone our office on (02) 6681 1860 between 10am & 4pm Monday to Friday to enquire about any of the animals we currently have in care. You will then need to complete an Adoption Questionnaire which you can download from our website. Please note that we require either proof of home ownership, or written landlord approval to accompany your Adoption Questionnaire.
