Meet Abbott 🐾

Abbott is a gentle, soulful boy searching for his forever home through no fault of his own. Sadly, his family has had a change in circumstances and can no longer keep him, so now he’s hoping to find someone special to give him the love and stability he deserves.

At 6 years old, Abbott is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. He enjoys a good zoom around the yard when he’s excited, but most of the time he’s a laid-back companion who simply wants to be near his people. He’s incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with those he trusts.

Abbott would do best as the only pet in the home. He can be a little unsure around unfamiliar dogs, as he’s always lived on his own, but when out and about he tends to keep to himself and doesn’t go looking for trouble. With people, however—especially kids he’s grown up around—he is affectionate, gentle, and devoted.

He’s crate trained, well-mannered indoors, and happy to enjoy both inside and outside living. Abbott would love a home where his family is around more often than not, as he truly thrives on companionship. He’s also a great car buddy and will happily join you on adventures or errands.

All Abbott wants is a safe, loving home where he can feel secure and cherished. In return, you’ll gain a loyal best friend with so much love to give.
