Meet Maverick

Maverick is a bright and active Border Collie looking for a home that can keep up with both his mind and energy! True to his breed, he's a typical working dog-smart, focused, and always ready for the next job.

He absolutely loves a game of fetch and will happily bring the ball straight back and drop it at your feet, ready to go again (and again!). An active lifestyle is a must for Maverick, with plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and fulfilled.

Maverick walks well on lead and may be toilet trained, making the transition into a new home that little bit easier. He's also okay with other dogs and could suit a home with a compatible canine companion.

While not overly affectionate, Maverick shows his love in his own way-through engagement, play, and loyalty. He would do best in a home with secondary school-aged children or older who can understand and respect his working dog nature.

Maverick can feel a little stressed at times, so he'll need a patient and understanding home willing to support him as he settles in and builds confidence.
