Hi, I'm Dorset!

I'm a 1-year-old girl with a gentle and sensitive nature. When we first meet, I might seem a little timid and shy. New places and unfamiliar people can make me a bit nervous, so I'll need some time and patience to feel safe in my new home. Once I know everything is okay, though, my sweet personality really starts to shine.

Because I'm a bit easily startled, I'd do best in a calm and quiet home where things aren't too busy or noisy. Sudden loud sounds and lots of visitors can make me feel overwhelmed, so a peaceful environment will help me settle in and build my confidence. I'm best suited to a home with older children who understand that I like to take things slowly and gently.

The lovely thing about me is that when I'm comfortable, I truly come out of my shell. I love to play, and you'll see a more confident, curious side of me as I explore, chase toys, and enjoy spending time with my favourite humans. Watching my confidence grow is really special, and I promise it's worth the wait.
