About Chicki
Meet Chicki, a 6-month-old American Staffy with lots of growing and learning ahead of her. She is a happy, wriggly girl who is still building her confidence in new situations and will blossom with patient guidance and reassurance.
With People: Chicki enjoys being around her people and with their support and guidance, she’ll do her best to be the best girl she can be. Due to her excited, bouncy nature, she would be best suited to a family with older children and will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training.
With Other Dogs: She is happy to be around friendly dogs and can enjoy their company. If another dog is too much, she may become unsure and will look to her person for help and reassurance.
Health: Chicki is a young dog with plenty of growing ahead of her. Our team can chat through her current health care and what to expect as she continues to develop.

Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222 or email communitycompliance@salisbury.sa.gov.au, and complete an adoption application.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
