Pluto / Astro

Meet Pluto and Astro - the dynamic duo who will just melt your heart.

Pluto is a 5 year old Maltese x Toy Poodle who loves nothing more than a loving pat and rambling around in the garden.  He is a gentle boy who enjoys a bit of tug of war on occasion but he would rather be snuggled on the couch with his humans.  Don’t let him fool you though - Pluto absolutely loves going out on walks around the neighbourhood and struts his stuff very confidently.  He is a little bit shouty when it comes to meeting doggy friends but does enjoy saying hello if slow and gentle introductions are made.

Astro, on the other hand, can be a very busy boy.  He is also 5 years old and this Toy Poodle lad can be very active especially if there is a ball involved - he even drops it at your feet so you can throw it for him again…. and again….. and again….. He does enjoy a good cuddle on the couch once he is done with his ball and, like his brother, enjoys going out for a walk. Astro can also be a bit shouty at others but enjoys saying hello just as his brother does.

The boys previous family have taken them to doggy daycare on several occasions and report that they thoroughly enjoyed their time there and played well with others.

Both pull on lead during walks and can get very excited and forget their manners when seeing other dogs or wildlife.

At night Astro and Pluto sleep in the laundry at their current foster home.  They can be left outside during the day if needed but much prefer to be inside with their humans.  They are house trained, however if you are going to be out during the day they will need access to an appropriate toileting area.

Due to being quite energetic at times these boys are suited to children over 8 years of age and may not be suitable for some older folk due to their energy level, pulling and jumping up.

Pluto and Astro are a bonded pair and will not be separated. Please take into consideration adopting 2 dogs. Applications will be closing 20th March due to expected volume of applications

Behaviour Notes: Will bark at other dogs on the lead. Needs further socialising and training on the lead. Bonded pair must be rehomed together
