Scar is a very sweet and affectionate cat who loves a cosy cuddle and spending time close to his people. While he enjoys attention, he can sometimes become a little overstimulated with too much handling and isn’t a fan of being picked up, so he’s happiest when affection is kept gentle and on his terms. A big fan of food and treats, Scar is easily won over with a tasty snack and will happily bond over mealtime.

While he enjoys affection, Scar does best when his boundaries are respected and when he’s allowed to approach on his own terms. Giving him space when he needs it will help him feel secure and bring out his loving personality. With a bit of understanding, he will form strong, trusting connections with his humans.

Scar can take some time to settle into new environments, so he’ll need a patient home willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust. He would be best suited to a household with pet-savvy children who understand how to read his cues and respect his preferences. In the right home, Scar will blossom into a loyal, cuddly companion with a big love for treats and affection.
