About Winnie - 5 Month Old Shar Pei X Staffy
🌟 Meet Winnie — Your Pocket Sized Powerhouse of Joy!
Winnie is a 5 month old Shar Pei cross with the spirit of a tiny tornado and the heart of a marshmallow. She’s the kind of pup who zooms through life (literally), then melts into your arms like she’s been waiting all day for that cuddle.
🐾 What Makes Winnie… Winnie
• Certified Zoomie Queen: One minute she’s a blur of excitement, the next she’s flopped on your lap recharging her batteries ready for her next bout of energy.
• Baby Piranha Energy: She’s in that adorable puppy stage where nibbling is her love language — but she’s learning fast.
• Food Motivated Genius: Treats? She’ll do your taxes for a liver snack.
• Smart Cookie: Already mastering sit and wait, and smashing her toilet training.
• Doggy Door Pro: She struts through it like she owns the place.
👧👦 Family & Friends
Winnie currently lives with two energetic young dogs and keeps up like she’s as big as them. She’d absolutely thrive with a doggy buddy — someone to wrestle, chase, and learn from. She’s young, eager, and full of heart.
🏡 Home Requirements
• Secure fencing: This girl can jump. Think “Olympic hopeful” energy.
• Someone who loves a shadow: Because she will follow you everywhere. Everywhere.
• A home that appreciates a vocal protector: She’ll alert you to danger… even if that danger is a bird minding its own business.
• Further training: to unleash her absolute potential.
• Kids over 8: due to her high energy.
• Winnie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
🎾 Hobbies
• Toy collecting
• Not digging (yes, really!)
• Being adorable
• Practicing her “I’m definitely not up to mischief” face
Winnie’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Winnie is in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.
