Molly (Empty The Nest $50 Adoption Special Easter)

I'm a shy, gentle little girl, who has been mistreated before I came into care.
I was found the day after my babies at the Ballarat tip. Unfortunately, only two of my litter survived with me.

I was covered in oil and grease, riddled with worms, undernourished and I'm still a baby myself, I've been an attentive mum, but it's time for me to find my place to be a mature kitten.

My fur is soft and clean now, but I'm still losing some that is breaking off because of the damage from the oil and grease. But it's replacing with silky smooth soft fine cotton fur, which I'm happy to occasionally preen.

Since coming into care, I've slowly started to come out of my box, showing my personality of being a gentle girl, who needs confirmation that I'm allowed on laps, beds and it's okay to ask for pats. I really like head rubs.
I still don't like to be picked up for more than a few seconds, as I think I'm in trouble but I'm willing to work on it if you are.

I hide from visitors or any loud noises, so I have a room that I've been granted in my foster care to hide away in, originally, I needed the door closed but I'm happy for it to remain open now.

I do still like to play with a tunnel, and occasionally a toy. I really like towers and a cardboard scratcher. I feel safe in the lounge with a box to hide in and watch.
My favorite meals are Dine, but I'm happy to try anything. I could still put some more weight on.

I will need a quite home with adults, that are mostly home.
I'm friendly towards other cats, once boundaries have been established.
I also don't mind dogs, and once my anxiety has settled down from meeting them, I like to rub against them occasionally.
I need someone who is willing to take their time with me, small slow steps forward.
