max is a very gentle older gentleman who wants nothing more than good food, a warm bed, peaceful walks and lots of love. Max had been used for breeding all of his life and was a very neglected back yard dog who had not been inside a house until we rescued him from a breeder. He get along very well with other dogs and he is currently sharing a house with seven other canine companions and is learning to play and enjoy life. Max travels well in the car and he is friendly when he meets strangers. . . He has a beautiful, soft, non-shedding coat which needs regular brushing and bathing but is low-maintenenace if clipped regularly. Small dogs like max should live to be around 15 years old, so he still has lots of life ahead of him. He's had a vet check and a dental cleaning and is healthy. . . . Max is still a little nervous with raised voices or sudden loud noises and he would be best suited to a quiet life with a retired couple or person. For more information or to meet max please phone sue on 0415-367-144 or 02-4954-2234 or email docman4@bigpond. Com (phone preferred).
