About Rusty
Introducing Rusty, a charming male puppy whose playful spirit and adorable features are sure to capture your heart. As he gets ready to celebrate his 8-week milestone on March 24, 2026, Rusty is eager to explore the world and find a loving new family or foster carer to share his journey. With a striking white coat accented by a unique black patch over his eye, Rusty is not only a handsome pup but also a bundle of joy.
Rusty's lineage includes a bull terrier cross staffy mom, and though his dad is a bit of a mystery, we suspect he might be part Bull Arab, adding a touch of intrigue to his heritage. This combination promises a delightful blend of playfulness, loyalty, and intelligence, making Rusty an exceptional companion.
Despite his tiny stature, Rusty is full of life and curiosity, always ready for new adventures. Whether playing in the yard or cuddling up for a nap, this little guy will bring warmth and happiness to any home. He would thrive with an active family who can provide him with ample love, exercise, and social interaction.
Rusty will be available for adoption or fostering starting March 24, 2026, and he's ready to become an integral part of your life. If you are searching for a charming pup to fill your days with laughter and love, Rusty is eager to welcome you with open paws.
Medical notes
Rusty comes with a desex contract and will be desexed at our expense when he is 6 months old.
Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed (e.g. size of dog, diet, temperament, exercise requirements).
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid.*
Supporting documents required:
Real estate approval or proof of home ownership such as a rates notice;
Photos of your fence and current pets, if applicable.
The dog will be up to date with all vaccinations and worming as at the time of adoption. Any future vaccinations and preventatives will be at the adopter's expense.*
