If you’re looking for a dog with personality plus, Socks is your guy.

Equal parts goofy, affectionate and full of life, he’s the kind of dog who will have you laughing, be your running buddy, shadow you and the kids wherever you go, comfort you when your down, and be the best most cuddly Netflix binge companion ever.

Socks is a professional snuggler — he loves being close to his people and will happily glue himself to your side (or lap… regardless of his size). He’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on connection, making him the ultimate companion dog.
He’s fantastic with kids, though does sometimes identify as a Chihuahua, forgetting his size so would be best with children over 8.(Absolutely would improve with time and training)

Socks gets along well with other dogs, and would really love a home with a canine buddy to wrestle, play and learn from.
He is eager to please and very food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience. he knows some basics and is improving every day.
Socks has attended dog training class and did well with a large number of dogs around him and although he can get a bit overstimulated and distracted, he has unlimited potential. Once he bonds with his person and improves his focus, training will be a whole lot of fun with this smart boy!

He’s also lived with a cat and is generally respectful — although if the cat runs, Socks thinks it’s a game (because… fun 😂).
A confident, dog savvy cat and some further training would have him living a (relatively) peaceful life with a cat companion.

He’s currently experiencing crate training to help him learn to reset and that “calm” is just as important as “go go go!”

Socks will require an active home with humans dedicated to training who can give him daily outlets for both his body and his brain. Think walks, playtime, enrichment and continued training to help him build focus and self-regulation.

He’s not a chill in the yard for the day kind of dog. He wants to be involved in your life, whether that’s following you around the house, hanging out on a property, or being your adventure buddy.
He also needs another dog companion, one who is older and wiser, will love to play but will help teach him to chill too.
