Meet Nacho – Your Future Lap Cat! 🧡
Introducing Nacho, an incredibly beautiful-natured boy who has a whole lot of love waiting to be given to his forever family.
Nacho is the definition of a lap cat. There is nothing he loves more than curling up on Mum or Dad’s lap, soaking up attention and being pampered. He absolutely adores being brushed and will happily trill away when he wants some attention and believe us, Nacho is not shy about letting you know when he is ready for some love!
At around 4 years old Nacho still has many wonderful years ahead of him. He is currently in foster care with other male cats and despite being FIV positive he enjoys the company of other cats. He could potentially live with other FIV-positive or feline-friendly cats, although Nacho can occasionally show a little “I’m the boss around here” attitude. For this reason, we feel he may be happiest as the only cat in his home where he can have all the attention to himself.
Nacho has medium-length fur so his new family will need to be happy to keep up with regular grooming. Fortunately, brushing is one of his favourite things so this is a job he is likely to thoroughly enjoy!
What Nacho really wants now is a home of his own. He is a loving, affectionate and entertaining boy who deserves to swap foster care for a warm forever home where he can curl up on a lap, trill his little tunes and be thoroughly adored.

Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
