About Primrose - 5 Month Old Border Collie X
Introducing beautiful Little Miss Primrose (Rose) a 5 month old Border Collie X with a gentle heart & the sweetest nature & so much love to give. And supermodel legs!
Like many smart, sensitive dogs Rose can be timid when meeting new people & experiencing new things though she settles with patience & encouraging attention & affection. Her personality & puppy side is emerging with each new day & it has been such a joy watching her come out of her shell & feel more comfortable.
Being a Border Collie X Rose is clever & eager to please. She is currently living here with 3 dogs (a Dachshund, Bordoodle & Whippet) who she follows around everywhere learning the ropes! She is polite with engagement, playtime & mealtime. She is learning to sit for treats & realising that they come often! She has mastered the art of tissue shredding however our shoes, socks & undies have been safe to date! And she has been great with our 2 cats, a little curious though no reaction & they are happy (enough for cats!) to be around her. We are yet to hear her bark at anything!
The active / working dog side of her will need plenty of enrichment & exercise with a big secure yard for ball time which she is currently mastering! A doggy playmate would be great for this gorgeous girl, a friend to continue showing her the world is a fun & safe place. Rose will thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not or where she can tag along as your 2IC! She will most certainly reward you with her love & loyalty, a best friend to share adventures with & also the couch!
Rose is great with toilet time when she knows where to go. She is good with puppy wee pads if they are there as well. We are yet to take her for walks (as she is freshly vaccinated) though again with time, patience & training I'm sure she would be a pro at this too.
Rose is currently free to go inside & outside via a doggy door & is just happy to be wherever her peeps are. She has been sleeping either on the floor of my bedroom or at the end of my bed & sleeps happily through the night. She will insist on joining any bathroom or glass of water trips though!
Rose has been good with kids that she has been around though very shy at first. She will do best with kids that are old enough to understand that she is still a puppy who needs gentle hands & voices.
Rose is so ready to find her loving forever home & being an integral part of your family so if you're ready to have her gentle little soul & smile steal your heart then we would love to hear from you.
Her adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Primrose is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney.
