Hello there, I'm Staples.

The first thing most people notice about me is that I'm quite a long boy. Tall, stretched out, all legs and tail, like someone took a regular cat and gently pulled the ends a little further apart. It does make me rather good at reaching things, which is a skill I'm proud of.

Like my best mate BluTak, I came in as a stray with no identification. No one came forward to claim us, which is hard to imagine considering what excellent company we are. But rather than dwell on the mystery of our past, I'm focused on what comes next.

I'm also in that wonderful "cattern" stage of life, past the tiny kitten phase but still very much a young lad discovering how exciting the world can be. There are cupboards to inspect, toys to chase, windows to watch, and countless important investigations to conduct.

Luckily, I've got BluTak by my side for all of it. We're the sort of friends who have clearly decided that life is better when you've got a partner in crime. If there's exploring to do, we'll do it together.

While I might look like the tall, slightly serious one, I'm just as curious and adventurous as my friend. I simply like to observe for a moment first... then join in on the fun with my very long legs.

What we're both hoping for is a home where our story can continue, somewhere we can grow from curious catterns into confident adult cats, with people who enjoy a bit of youthful chaos, plenty of affection, and the occasional very long cat stretched across the couch.
