About Nina
Nina is a shy, quiet girl, who is looking for a calm and routine household where she can settle and become her true self. She takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she has warmed up, she loves being around her favourite person, enjoying gentle head rubs and occasionally enjoying sitting in their lap. Her new ideal home would be one with no other pets in it, and has adults only (or gentle, cat-savvy teens) who are experienced with shy cats.
Nina does enjoy treats, and this helps her to bond with people. She is also quite active and playful, once she does settle into her new home, enjoying chasing toys and playing with wands. A predictable routine will help her settle in to her new home, as well as a safe room that she can have to herself for a few weeks.
If you have the time and patient for this beautiful but shy girl, she will become a loving and affectionate companion!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
