About Panda
Meet Panda, a Staghound and Border Collie mix with a loving personality. Born on May 5th, 2016, Panda is a strong and sturdy fellow, showing off his impressive 26.5kg frame with pride. Despite his size, he’s a gentle giant at heart who cherishes a good balance between playtime and relaxation.
Panda has a passion for playing ball games and taking invigorating walks with his human companions. He is a loyal protector and will be devoted to his human family, making him an ideal guardian who will also enjoy lazing by your side as you soak up the sun together.
His playful curiosity can lead to bouts of roughhousing, so he'd thrive with someone who appreciates and can harness his boundless energy. During playtime, he may sometimes exhibit a cheeky reluctance to give his beloved ball back, making it a fun little game for both of you.
While Panda is usually gentle, his aversion to the vet is understandable. A patient and comforting approach can help ease his anxiety during vet visits, making him feel supported and secure.
If you're searching for a strong, playful, and loyal companion, Panda may be the ideal addition to your life. With his blend of strength and affection, he's sure to enrich your days and stand by your side through thick and thin.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
