About Chad - Meet me @ Petstock Prahran 29/3!
Chad – Your New Little Shadow 🐾
Chad is an absolute sweetheart of a tabby kitten whose gentle nature and affectionate personality make him an absolute joy to have around. When he first came into care, he was a very scared little boy, but with time, patience and love he has blossomed into a confident, happy kitten. In fact, you’d never guess he was once shy -Chad now approaches life with curiosity, trust and a whole lot of charm.
Like any kitten, Chad has a cheeky and mischievous side. He loves playtime, enjoys his food, and keeps himself entertained with all the little adventures that kittenhood brings. But beneath that playful exterior is an incredibly loyal and affectionate boy who truly loves being around his people. Chad is a genuine little snuggle bug who enjoys checking in with you throughout the day and happily spending time by your side.
One of Chad’s favorite things in the world is curling up on his foster carer’s chest at night, purring contentedly as he drifts off to sleep. He’s the kind of kitten who forms a close bond with his humans and loves to be part of whatever you’re doing.
Chad is also very confident around other animals. He gets along well with adult cats and small dogs and would easily adapt to a multi-pet household with proper introductions. Having a furry friend around helps him feel secure and gives him a buddy to play and cuddle with.
Due to our single kitten policy, Chad must be adopted into a home that already has a friendly resident cat, or he would love to be adopted alongside his brother Brad, who is also available for adoption. 🐾
Chad will be at Petstock Prahran on Sunday 29 March between 10am-2pm for our Meet and Greet day. Everyone is invited to head in store to meet Chad and many of our other cats and kittens during the event.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
