About Jester
Like most gingers this handsome little gentleman is a mix of incredibly loving, incredibly playful and incredibly quirky.
He was well loved by his previous family but unfortunately he did not get along well with the other cat in his home so his people made the tough decision to reach out to us to find him a new home.
Jester actually is very social and loves other cats but when this other cat rejected him, instead of just going away Jester decided that annoying his cranky housemate would be good fun. Which is very common behavior amongst cheeky gingers.
When he's not being a little terror he is an incredibly loving and social little gentleman who absolutely adores people. He loves a pat and a scratch, is happy to be picked up and smooched, loves to curl up on your lap and will keep you warm in bed at night time.
He has such a sweet nature and is so incredibly loving it's not even fair.
As a young man Jester is very playful and will happily chase a ball or wand toy for hours.
He is also very gentle, very tolerant and great with young kids.
This little guy is the perfect family cat and would suit a household with lots going on and lots of people to give him attention. If you have another male cat around his age even better as we're certain he would enjoy the rough and tumble play.
Jester is approximately 2.5 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause you can find it by searching for Urban Feline Australia.
Otherwise please check out our social media to learn a bit more about what we do.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
