Luxe

Luxe is a beautiful medium-haired calico with the softest, silkiest fur and a sweet, affectionate nature.

Her story began with heartbreak. We believe Luxe was dumped in farmland and eventually found her way to a nearby home, crying at the door for help. She was skin and bones and had deep scratches, likely from a tomcat attack. Despite everything she had been through, Luxe never lost her love for people.

Luxe’s favourite place in the world is close to her humans. Whether she’s napping beside you (or on you), being carried around while you get chores done (or try to), or curling up in your arms at night, Luxe is happiest when she’s as close as possible. Her constant purring lets you know just how content she feels.

She has a wonderfully gentle presence. Her quiet personality creates a sense of calm around her.

She’s steadily gaining back the weight and energy she lost during her tough start, and as she continues to recover, we expect her coat to grow even thicker and more luxurious.

Luxe seems to have grown up as a solo kitten and is very comfortable entertaining herself. She can turn almost anything into a toy - crinkled foil, boxes, bits of string - and happily creates her own fun. She would prefer a home where she can soak up plenty of human attention as the solo cat, though she has adjusted well to life in foster care alongside other kittens.

Luxe is a resilient, affectionate girl who has come through a difficult beginning and is now ready for the safe, loving home she has always deserved.
