About Winnie - 4 Year Old Dachshund
If you’re looking for a devoted companion who lives for sunny naps, leisurely walks, and endless cuddles, Winnie is waiting for you. This sweet girl doesn’t just want a home; she wants a person to call her own. It won’t be immediate bond, as Winnie needs time to learn to trust you, but it will be worth the wait.
Winnie hides when visitors come to the house so she would prefer a calm home, not a busy home with visitors often. She favours the company of females and finds men scary so any men in your family will need to be incredibly patient and calm.
Winnie takes comfort in having a calm doggy companion and has even started joining in on the occasional zoomies. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she can be the centre of your world.
Living with a small, friendly dog companion would help her confidence. Dog savvy cats do not bother her. Kids need to be over 12. Winnie is an inside dog, she must be allowed to be inside whether you are home or not. She is completely toilet trained and prefers to spend her days sleeping on the sofa.
Winnie Needs
🏡 A peaceful house with a garden for exploring and sunbaking no apartments
🙋🏾♀️ A female-led household with patient, kind adults or a family with children over 12.

Winnie takes time to warm to new people. But once you’re in her inner circle, her love runs deep. She just needs a family willing to go slow and let her blossom at her own pace.
