About Winnie - 4 Year Old Dachshund
Hi my name’s Winnie, I’m a 4 year old Dachshund.
I have a lot of love to share with the right person but because I haven’t had the easiest journey in life so I'm still learning to trust. My foster family have been patient and have been teaching me to trust. I will need a patient and loving person to help me continue to overcome my fears. I have a deep fear of men, so I really need to live in a home with only women.
A quiet environment is crucial for me; too many visitors can make me anxious, and I might seek refuge under furniture.
Having a calm furry companion would be beneficial, as I currently enjoy the company of two dogs and I learn from them. At night I like to snuggle with my favourite human. When I open my heart, my love runs deep and strong.
Children can be quite intimidating for me, so I’d prefer a home with adults with kids over 12. I don’t mind the family cat but would probably chase pocket pets.
I’m in search of my forever unicorn family.
A single woman or couple in search of a lifelong devoted Dachshund companion. Although I will take some time to bond while I learn to trust, once I feel secure with you, I will be forever by your side.
