About Winnie - 4 Year Old Dachshund
If you’re looking for a devoted companion who lives for sunny naps, leisurely walks, and endless cuddles, Winnie is waiting for you. This sweet girl doesn’t just want a home; she wants a person to call her own.
Winnie is the ultimate "people dog." While she takes comfort in having a doggy companion and has even started joining in on the occasional zoomie, her heart belongs firmly to her humans. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she can be the center of your world. Ready to provide belly rubs on request.
Her new people will need to be patient as they gain her trust and devotion. Winnie would prefer a female only home that’s calm and doesn’t have a lot of visitors. Living with a small, friendly dog companion would help her confidence.
Winnie Needs
🏡 A peaceful house with a garden for exploring and sun baking, no apartments.
🙋🏾♀️ A female-led household with patient, kind adults or a family with children over 12.
🛋️ She’d love someone home more often than not, though she handles part-time workers just fine.
🐶 A small, calm friendly canine companion. She is cat-friendly.
🥩 Her fresh food diet to continue in her forever home.
Winnie takes time to warm to new people. But once you’re in her inner circle, her love runs deep. She just needs a family willing to go slow and let her blossom at her own pace.
She is in foster care in New Lambton, Newcastle, NSW. Not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $800. She is vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, treated for worms, ticks and fleas.
